My name is Cindy Luper. I recently lost my best friend, Tessa, an 11 year old English Mastiff. She had been such a good dog, that we had to have another Mastiff. I suffer from Fibromyalgia and my doctor told me to find an activity that would require me to get up and do something, but not for very long. I have found that working with my Mastiffs is just that something that requires exercise as well as sharing love with my dogs! I have just started into the show ring! I have found that it is fun and you meet good people! But I can also sit on the side lines and just watch the fun!
I have found good quality adult dogs to start my foundation of a line of Mastiff that will compliment the breed and produce winners in the show ring! I took Onyx to the ring for the first time in Louisville, KY in Mar of '15. I found that an adult dog that had not been exposed to this life was really skittish! So I got a puppy to take to the ring. Sampson was a lot of fun! So, I got some more! So far, I have finished 4 of my babies!
I am borrowing from the good names and established lines of Mastiff such as Nancy Walker with Lazy D Mastiffs. She is a wonderful friend and an absolute kind hearted woman. My foundation of dogs will be from her line with Onyx and Sampson. Gary Schneider's fabulous Argo is the grandsire of Sampson, so we carry his line with us in all Sampson produces. We also have some Gropetti, Audley Farm and Marcy Mountain. The MTC line is from another good friend, Tracy Clark. She worked with her Mastiffs for years and has achieved a high quality line. I have also incorporated the dedicated work from my friend, Matthew Hess with Hess' Country. His Grand Champion, Chamberlain, is sire to my new male, Bo. I want to thank all these breeders for their hard work and dedication to the breed and I hope that I am able to establish a line that they will appreciate as well!
I have added a few more puppies from good stock! Gypsy, who was kept from my Sam and Onyx litter as well as a nice little girl, Gemma, from Budapest with excellent lines from Edit Mezo's champions.
I recently kept back 3 female puppies from my lines! I'm excited to see where they will go! 2 of the girls, Bodine and Willow, are from littermate sisters from Sam and Bertha bred to Bo! The other beauty, Dolly, is from Macy and Sam! They are all just about as sweet as the day is long!
